Australia said Monday it would not be moved by new terror warnings related to its military involvement in Iraq and stood by its earlier criticism of countries that chose to withdraw troops from Iraq under threat of terrorism.
"We will not take any notice of threats of that kind," Prime Minister John Howard told reporters. "We will not parlay and negotiate with terrorists, and I believe the overwhelming majority of the Australian public will agree with us."
Defeating terror requires opposing, not appeasing the Terrorists.
