Wretchard has a good post on the Russian school hostage crisis and the French reporter hostage crisis. One line:

Liberals, Democrats and critical conservatives may question whether President Bush's "forward strategy for freedom" has been carried out well or botched; but its conceptual rightness is indisputable and its undertaking long overdue.
I wish that it's conceptual rightness was not being disputed. On a side note, I cannot help but wonder if the terrorist plan to blow up the Russian school during George Bush's speech tonight. I hope that is not the case, but it seems to be to be a possibility.
