In good company

It is pretty apparent that my acceptance of Durbin's apology put me in the minority on the right side of the blogosphere. However, it is quality, not quantity that matters and Lt. Smash who I greatly respect agrees with my sentiments. His advice:

Be gracious. Accept the apology, chalk it up as a victory if that makes you happy, and move on.

I was kinda sad to see him apologize, i wanted the stories to keep coming, and coming, and coming...Oh well i guess a good time has to end eventually.

Of course, If i remember the last time trent lott said somthing dumb, he was forced to resign his leadership position.

I expect no less from durbin, but apparently a apology is enough for some people.
